For almost 15 years, Prof. Dr. Chandan K Sen of Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center, through fundings from NIH, has been studying the effect of full spectrum palm tocotrienol complex (EVNol™ and EVNol SupraBio™) in neuroprotection, specifically in protecting neurons against stroke-induced injuries.
Prof. Sen shows that very minute quantity (at the level of nanomolar concentration) of tocotrienols is sufficient to bring about the protection (*).
“A “nano-” is equivalent to one in a billionth and represented as 10-9 or 0.000000001, which is very little indeed but just the right amount when we deal with brain protection and it goes to show how potent tocotrienol is, so much so that it has been touted as the super vitamin E ,”
“However, tocotrienols are scarce and rarely found in normal western diets, as such, it is important to consider dietary supplementation with scientifically-substantiated tocotrienols EVNol™ and EVNol SupraBio™) ,” – ExcelVite.
